This page used to be nothing more than a tongue-in-cheek "haha, quit stalking me" gimmick. I pay the $10/yr cost for a couple different domains mostly for things like email aliases, it's a good practice for security/privacy/anti-spam purposes. Highly recommend, but preferably not one that is literally just your full name.
Over the course of 2025, I solidified my views on the importance of offline life. I know some people decide to broadcast every detail of their life, but that's not for me. There is nothing for me to gain with that.
I never had any interest of becoming a social media influencer, nor do I want to flex on how much fun I'm having in some totally-not-posed manner. The closest thing to it is when I briefly attempted to be a gaming youtuber around 2010-2011, which was a very specific era (and I was a certain age)
The internet in 2026 is now a shell of what it once was anyways. Until the mid-2010s, people around the world created webpages, blogs, and forums. Not for ambitions of monetary gain, influence, or recognition. People created cool things for the love of it. We all have hobbies/interests/passions. For the latter half of 2025 I loved asking people of all ages & walks of life about their most recent [hobby/creation/project/interest/collection]. It's an amazing part of being human and should be embraced.

Back to me; around mid-late 2025 I stopped giving out ANY contact info to new people I meet until ≥3 offline 'organic' encounters.
Of the hundreds of awesome people I met offline over the past few years; I kept in touch with a tiny fraction of the ones that I exchanged contact info with. No matter how well we got along, it was not a predictor of whether we would manage to maintain contact.
However, people that I never exchanged contact info with ended up becoming the ones that I remember most vividly & fondly. Several hours-long conversations memorized nearly verbatim with people I met once 3-5yrs ago. In essence; to fail to establish contact can spoil a wonderful memory of someone met once or twice. If a friendship is starting to form, then we should totally exchange details and give it a shot, knowing the risk of it failing to become anything.
That being said; I have regrettably become somewhat difficult to reach. I have almost entirely stopped using Instagram and do not regularly reply on whatsapp. If you ask me on either of those on how to best reach me, I will give you updated contact info. I do ask all my friends/acquaintances to not share any of my social media / phone numbers that I have shared.
In 2026, I plan to be living in a city within a small European country which I have more-or-less fallen in love with. There is some difficult-to-describe human element that I have only seen in a handful of the 40+ cities I've spent time in over the last 5yrs.
Since I don't use linkedin (arguably the most cringey & pathetic social media platform of our time) and some people are hyper-obsessed with asking about occupation: my education & work experience place me something along the lines of "general scientist" at this point in my life. It is a decades-dead occupational title but you can always just ask me directly to elaborate.
I love my hobbies/interests and try to shape my career/jobs to be in-line with them without obsessing over maximizing income/wealth over everything else. Those will buy you freedom but it's important to stay cognizant of your overall personal situation and actually use the freedom that money offers. I have spent a great deal of my total savings/"wealth" in the past few years with very few regrets.

I plan to completely revamp this lazy/trashy 'google sites' webpage into a ultra-simple 'late-90s/early-00s style' HTML page since I've always admired that style of website. ETA is probably February 2026.
Around then I will also some publish a few pages about some of my interests/passtimes that I discovered and played around with in the past 1-2yrs.
Cheers.

I did not use LLMs/'AI' to write or create any elements of the above. While there are excellent uses for the tech, writing simple things [like the above] on your own is a virtue. Everyone has their own writing style and vocabulary, it feels human to not constantly be reading AI-written/modified junk.
